Exceed Safety is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Field Safety Specialist in the Raleigh, NC area who is ready to begin a career in occupational safety and health. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who wants to gain hands-on experience working in the field alongside experienced safety professionals.
No previous professional safety experience is required. - Able to communicate safety information clearly to individuals with different levels of experience and knowledge
- Addressing unsafe conditions or behaviors in a professional and respectful manner

This role requires travel within the Triangle Area, and could involve some night and weekend hours.
Responsibilities
The Entry-Level Field Safety Specialist will support our team and clients with a variety of field safety activities, including:
- Conducting and assisting with jobsite safety inspections and observations
- Identifying, documenting, and communicating potential hazards
- Interacting regularly with field personnel, supervisors, subcontractors, and project leadership
- Explaining safety requirements in a practical, and approachable manner
- Delivering toolbox talks, safety meetings, orientations, and other basic safety training
- Supporting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), pre-task planning, and other safety planning activities
- Reviewing work activities for compliance with company policies and applicable safety requirements
- Preparing inspection reports, observations, and corrective-action documentation
- Maintaining accurate safety records and documentation
- Learning to interpret and apply OSHA standards and other applicable requirements
- Working alongside experienced safety professionals to develop practical field knowledge
Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- Bachelor's or associate degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety, Safety Management, or a related field or
- Equivalent safety education, coursework, or professional development
